The MCD AI number is the business number assigned to one location for calls and patient text follow-up through Missed Calls Dental.
For call forwarding:
- Forward FROM: the regular office phone number patients already call.
- Forward TO: the MCD AI number shown for that location.
Patients should continue calling the clinic's regular public office number. Do not replace the published office number with the MCD AI number.
The MCD AI number is not a separate desk phone for staff to use directly. Staff should continue making ordinary calls from the clinic's regular phone unless the account provides a specific in-app calling feature.
Calls, AI answering, text follow-up, and patient replies through the MCD AI number remain part of the location's Missed Calls Dental workflow. Each location must use its own assigned MCD AI number as its forwarding destination.
